Mizuno ST 220 Drivers

Mizuno ST 220 Drivers

ST 220 Drivers

Mizuno’s drivers have taken a giant step forward in the past couple of years with its new Forged SAT2041 Beta Titanium clubface material, which is 17 percent stronger than commercial 6-4 Titanium that is commonly used in drivers.

New in the ST 220 drivers is an Optimally Placed 20-gram stainless steel weight. In the ST-Z 220, it is placed below the sole surface in the rear center of the head, providing a huge MOI boost. The ST-Z 220 also features a modern players profile at 460cc, with the shape pushed slightly lower to the ground for easier launch and low-to-mid spin. Of the two ST 220 models, the ST-Z 220 will fit the most golfers, promoting a neutral trajectory and high launch.

Meanwhile, the ST-X 220 Driver is designed for golfers with either moderate swing speeds or golfers seeking help correcting a slice, thanks to the stainless steel weight being positioned more toward the heel to promote a draw bias. The ST-X 220 also features a modern game-improvement profile with a larger footprint to enhance launch and MOI.

Mizuno ST-X 220 Fairway Wood

ST-X 220 Fairway Wood

Featuring a clean look and several technologies, the ST-X 220 Fairway Wood is designed to deliver exceptional forgiveness and high launch for all golfers. Additionally, the ST-X 220 model includes a slight draw bias for golfers that may struggle with a slice or a block miss.

Notably, the Mizuno ST-X 220 fairway woods are powered by unique clubface materials. In the 3-wood, the clubface is made from the same material as the ST 220 drivers: SAT2041 Beta Titanium, which is 17 percent stronger than titanium usually used in drivers. In the 5-wood and 7-wood, the MAS1C CORTECH face is slightly thinner to better fit the smaller clubhead. In both models, the clubface combines with CORTECH technology to deliver higher COR and ball speeds across the whole face

Finally, every ST-X 220 boasts both the new Ultra Thin Waffle Crown, an innovation that has lowered the center of gravity and further enhanced launch numbers, and Harmonic Impact Technology, which ensures a consistently solid and powerful sound at impact.

Mizuno ST-X Hybrid

Mizuno ST-X Hybrid

ST-X Hybrid

With a clean look and several technologies, the ST-X 220 Hybrid is designed to deliver exceptional forgiveness and high launch for all golfers. With lofts available of 20°, 23°, and 26°, golfers seeking a replacement for a long iron can find it with a ST-X 220 Hybrid.

The Mizuno ST-X 220 hybrids are powered by a unique thin MAS1C face that helps deliver higher COR and ball speeds across the whole face. The hybrids also include WAVE technology, which adds speed on contact made low on the clubface to help aid the ball into the air. Based on their profile and technological characteristics, golfers with moderate swing speeds will enjoy the easy launch of the ST-X 220 Hybrid, and are best suited for the club.

Mizuno Pro 221 Irons

Pro 221 Irons

The technological innovations featured in the Mizuno Pro 221 make them some of the most responsive, accurate irons available. Grain Flow Forged from a single billet of 1025E mild carbon steel, these irons feature that classic, soft Mizuno feel that the company is famous for. Also, a new tour-proven sole with a new camber level has improved turf interaction during the strike. Finally, the optimized graduated Tapered Blades help ensure a penetrating ball flight in the higher-lofted irons and a precise center of gravity throughout the set.

Ultimately, the Mizuno Pro 221 irons are one of the best options available for golfers seeking premium feel, superb control, and exceptional workability.

Mizuno Pro 223 Irons

Mizuno Pro 223 Irons

Pro 223 Irons

Like the 221s, the Mizuno Pro 223 irons are also forged through Mizuno’s patented Grain Flow Forging process from 1025E mild carbon steel to deliver unmatched feel. The set’s 4-7 irons’ heads are Forged Chromoly with a Flow Microslot that balances powerful distance with superb accuracy. A precisely beveled back edge allowed Mizuno engineers to find room for the micro slot without having to compromise their authentic tour-accepted sole.

By blending an unmatched feel with stout distance capabilities, Mizuno has made their Pro 223 Irons a terrific option for consistent ball-strikers that want an added boost of distance in a small profile.

Mizuno Pro 225 Irons

Pro 225 Irons

Over the past couple of years, Mizuno has brilliantly constructed more user-friendly irons through its Grain Flow Forging process. The Mizuno Pro 225 irons are another example, featuring a forged 4135 Chromoly hollow body design. A multi-thickness CORTECH clubface and added tungsten weighting in the longer irons combine to deliver a terrific combination of power and forgiveness.

The Mizuno Pro 225 irons fall into the players-distance iron category, perfect for low- to mid-handicap players seeking Mizuno’s tremendous feel without sacrificing forgiveness and distance. Additionally, the Mizuno Pro 225 is also available in single long irons as a utility iron, which figures to be a popular option for skilled players seeking to bridge the gap between their irons and fairway woods.

Mizuno Pro Fli-Hi Irons

Mizuno Pro Fli-Hi Irons

Pro Fli-Hi Irons

The Mizuno Pro Fli-Hi is designed with some similar features to past Fli-Hi clubs, but with updated technology and materials. This Mizuno Pro Fli-Hi represents the first MAS1C Steel clubface ever in an iron. It’s the same high ball speed face material that is reserved for Mizuno fairway woods, but has been refined and implemented into the Fli-Hi club. A bendable 431SS body and 21-gram tungsten weight inside the clubhead all combine to deliver a consistent and reliable ball flight. The complex construction sounds and feels terrific thanks to Mizuno’s H.I.T. (Harmonic Impact Technology).

The Mizuno Pro Fli-Hi is best fit for golfers with ample swing speed seeking a lower launching, lower spin option to transition from their iron set to their fairway woods.

Mizuno ST Drivers

ST Drivers

In recent years, Mizuno has invested heavily in their metal woods. Not content with just churning out excellent iron sets, the company’s latest ST series is a bold set of offerings that will change the way golfers view Mizuno woods. The ST series boasts two different driver options: the ST-Z and the ST-X. Both ST drivers sport brand new Forged SAT2041 Beta Ti faces, constructed from the same highly resilient metal commonly used in the automotive industry. With a fine grain structure inherently resistant to fatigue, the driver faces will withstand strong forces for years. Both drivers also feature four degrees of loft adjustability, which allows golfers to tweak the look and performance of the clubface at will.

The Mizuno ST-Z Driver is an extremely low-spin driver that seeks to optimize both ball flight and ball speed to produce the longest, straightest drives possible. This driver is perfect for the golfer looking to reduce the curve and increase the total distance of his or her tee shots. The ST-Z’s counterpart, the Mizuno ST-X Driver, sets up with a high draw bias, which reduces the severity of the miss out to the right and makes it easier to hit the elusive tight draw. This driver is preferred among Mizuno’s professional golfers relative to the ST-Z, and its compact head shape and technological characteristics make it ideal for mid-handicappers and below.

The brand new Mizuno ST-Z Fairway Wood is a potent weapon both off the deck and off the tee, as it features several new technical features and a stylish new aesthetic. For this club, Mizuno created their thinnest and hottest face to date, a brand new MAS1C Maraging face with optimized CORTECH thickness. The crown of the ST-Z was also tweaked, and its ultra-lightweight design has lowered the center of gravity to improve spin efficiency. Finally, all ST-Z fairway woods feature Quick Switch adjustability, providing every golfer with the ability to alter their club’s loft and face angle up to 4 degrees.

The Mizuno ST-Z Fairway Wood features an extremely low-spin design that seeks to optimize both ball flight and ball speed to produce long and straight shots from the tee, fairway, and rough. This versatility makes the club a good fit for golfers of all different handicaps.

JPX 921 Hot Metal and Hot Metal Pro Irons

Hot Metal Irons Hot Metal Pro Irons

This is now the third generation of Mizuno JPX irons featuring Chromoly, a thin and strong material that helps generate explosive distance. The JPX 921 Hot Metal and Hot Metal Pro irons are the fastest ever created by Mizuno thanks to a thinner CORTECH clubface -- 0.2mm thinner to be exact. In terms of forgiveness, the Stability Frame with toe bias weighting keeps the clubhead stable through impact whether contact is made off-center or in the center of the face.

The JPX 921 Hot Metal Pro irons feature a sleeker appearance with the same construction as the JPX 921 Hot Metal irons. Both models fall into the game-improvement category and are designed for exceptional distance, high launch, and solid feel.

For the first time ever, Mizuno has implemented its Chromoly material into a fully-forged iron. The new Mizuno JPX 921 Forged irons have been forged through Mizuno’s Grain Flow Forging process to deliver the exceptional feel while also producing excellent distance. The clubface has been made 0.5mm thinner for Mizuno’s fastest peak and average ball speeds ever from a fully-forged iron.

The Stability Frame, while not as prominent as it is in the JPX 921 Hot Metal and Hot Metal Pro, still stabilizes the clubhead through perimeter weighting and toe bias. The back milled slot has also been made 6.4% wider to increase forgiveness on mis-hits.

JPX 921 Tour Irons

The JPX 921 Tour shape has been refined slightly, but it maintains the impressive combination of precision, consistency, and stability. These irons are forged through Mizuno’s patented Grain Flow Forging process from 1025 soft carbon steel for tremendous feel. Additionally, Mizuno narrowed the sole for cleaner turf interaction and made the area behind impact slightly thicker for improved feel. The result of all these innovations is a clean and compact shallow cavity-back iron that delivers consistency and classic Mizuno forged feel.

The new Mizuno JPX Fli Hi is designed to replace the least reliable long iron in your bag. Its new, wide footprint with updated materials generate a more playable ball flight than some of the past Fli Hi hybrid models. Upgrades in ball speed and launch have been made partially due to the new 17-4 stainless steel clubface and 431 body, while a re-engineered Wave Soleplate has expanded the sweet spot area and improves stability at impact. These hybrids include a deep center of gravity, which creates less work to generate the launch necessary to get the ball to land softly on the green.

ST200 Drivers

Shop Now

Mizuno made its first splash in the driver market in many years in 2019 with its ST190 drivers and is now looking to build on that success with the new ST200 lineup, which will feature three unique options to meet the needs of different player types. Each model features a forged BETA titanium clubface, which helps create more ball speed and improves durability, while Mizuno’s Wave Sole technology helps protect ball speed on off-center strikes.

As for the available models, the ST200 features a fixed back weight to optimize launch and provide high MOI, but it would still be considered a low-spin head. The ST200G has adjustable weights to help players dial in the performance they’re looking for and will be a good fit for high swing speed players who want to move the CG forward. And finally, the ST200X was created to provide high launch, forgiveness, and a draw bias for players with moderate swing speeds.

In addition to its three new ST200 driver models, Mizuno also has two new ST200 fairway wood options available. Both models feature a maraging steel clubface that offers both strength and flexibility to improve ball speeds, and the variable face thickness pattern has been thinned out in areas to promote more ball speed from a larger portion of the clubface. Low, deep CG positions also promote stability at impact and optimal launch conditions.

That said, there is also quite a bit that’s different about the two fairway options. The ST200 features a more compact, tour-inspired profile that will provide workability and appeal to a wide range of players. The ST200X, on the other hand, offers a larger footprint and a lightweight design that was made possible by a titanium body. It will work best for players with slower swing speeds who need help getting the ball in the air and squaring the face at impact.

CLK Hybrids

Shop Now

CLK hybrids have always enjoyed niche popularity, but Mizuno is hoping that the sweeping design updates that it has made in the 2020 CLK hybrids will make them more attractive to the masses. Included among the new innovations is a thinner maraging steel clubface that is creating faster ball speeds, while a wider profile creates higher launch and makes it easier for players to stop the ball on the green on long approach shots.

Also of note, the Wave sole has been made more flexible in the 2020 CLK models, which will help maintain ball speed on mis-hits, and an adjustable hosel that allows for +/-2 degrees of loft manipulation ensures that players can fill the gaps in their bag that they’re looking to address. There will also be four loft options for players to choose from at 16, 19, 22, and 25 degrees in their standard settings.

Mizuno M-Craft Putters

M-Craft Putters

For the first time in many years, Mizuno is getting back into the putter game, and it’s jumping in with both feet with its high-end M-Craft lineup. Each putter in the M-Craft line is constructed using premium 1025 carbon steel and then fully CNC milled to offer a pure roll, shaping precision, and a soft, responsive impact feel. The available models also provide changeable sole weights so players can achieve the exact weight, feel, and balance that they’re looking for.

There are three head shapes to choose from in the M-Craft line, the I, the II, and the III, and each option is available in blue, black, or satin finishes. The I and II models are blade designs, with the I offering more toe hang for players with significant arc in their strokes. The III, meanwhile, is a rounded mid-mallet that is face balanced, meaning it will work well for golfers with minimal arc or those who putt using a straight back, straight through approach.

MP-20 Blade Irons

Shop Now

Mizuno has been known for decades for its forged players irons and no Mizuno iron franchise has been more iconic than MP. Brand new from Mizuno is the MP-20 lineup, which includes three different models for players to choose from. Included among that grouping is the MP-20 Blade, an iron that represents everything that has made Mizuno so popular through the years.

The MP-20 blade is a classic muscleback design that has been created for players who are looking for control, precision, and feel. Notable about the MP-20 Bades when compared to some of their MP predecessors is that they feature progressive blade lengths and a lower CG position in the long irons to offer more help and a thin copper layer under the finish to improve feel.

MP-20 MMC

MP-20 MMC Irons

Also new from Mizuno in the MP-20 lineup are the MP-20 MMC irons, and while this model will offer more forgiveness and playability than the MP-20 Blade, they are still irons that were developed for better players. More specifically, the MP-20 MMCs are forged cavity back irons that feature compact blade shapes, thinner toplines, and limited offset to promote workability.

That said, tungsten and titanium weight has been utilized to provide better results on mis-hits through the set and specifically in the long and mid irons, The cavity of the MP-20 MMCs features a 12-gram titanium plate behind the sweet spot to promote feel and forgiveness, while 12 grams of tungsten in the sole of the 4-7 irons provides higher MOI and improved launch.

MP-20 HMB Irons

The final member of the MP-20 family is the brand new MP-20 HMB, which represents a more modern construction approach within what has been throughout the years a very traditional MP franchise. But with players distance irons growing increasingly popular with each passing year, Mizuno felt it was time to crash that party with its own MP entry into the category.

The 2-iron through 8-iron feature a hollow construction with a high-strength Chromoly clubface, a combination that delivers faster ball speeds and significant perimeter weighting. The 9-iron and PW, meanwhile, are semi-hollow and offer a carbon steel clubface to promote control. Additionally, each clubface and hosel through the set is forged to provide classic Mizuno feel.

T20 Wedges

Also new from Mizuno are T20 wedges, marking the first T-series wedge from the company in three years, which should make diehard Mizuno fans quite happy. T20 wedges feature Mizuno’s proprietary Grain Flow Forging to provide the soft, crisp feel that Mizuno is known for, but a hint of boron has been included in the process to offer more durability and groove longevity.

The T20 wedges also feature quad cut grooves and laser face milling to provide optimal spin based on loft through the lineup, while for the first time Hydro Micro Grooves are also being milled into the face to channel away moisture and debris, which creates more consistency in wet conditions or from the rough. T20 wedges are also being offered in three finishes -- Satin Chrome, Blue Ion, and Raw -- and are available in lofts ranging from 46 to 60 degrees.

ST190 Drivers

Shop Now

Mizuno has long been known for creating some of the best irons in golf, but even it would be the first to admit that grabbing the attention of the golfing world with its drivers has been difficult. Mizuno engineers, however, believe that is going to change with the release of the new ST190 and ST190G. Both models feature a lightweight carbon crown that enables an optimal CG position, while a new SP700 titanium clubface is thinner and creating more ball speed.

Mizuno has also utilized what it is calling an Amplified Wave Sole, a design feature that they believe protects ball speed on off-center strikes. Of the two models, the ST190 features fixed weight low and deep in the head to offer maximum MOI and low-spin, high launch flight conditions, while the ST190G features Mizuno’s Fast Track system, which gives players two seven-gram weights to use in two different tracks to dial in their preferred shot shape.

Mizuno ST190 Fairway Woods

ST190 Fairway Woods

Much as is the case with the ST190 drivers, Mizuno wanted to provide players with as much ball speed as it possibly could with the new ST190 fairway woods, a fairway lineup that features the ST190 and ST190 TS models. Making those faster ball speeds possible is an HT1770 maraging steel face insert that is lightweight and strong but also high flexible, with the result being increased flex at impact for more distance.

Additionally, an Amplified Wave Soleplate provides ball speed protection on off-center strikes and is also especially effective in terms of keeping spin rates down on low-face strikes, which are common misses with fairway woods. In terms of the two models, the ST190 features a bonded hosel design, while the ST190 TS features an adjustable hosel that players can use to optimize performance.

JPX 919 Tour Irons

Shop Now

When it comes to players irons from Mizuno, many people immediately think of the highly popular MP line. Over the course of the last few years, however, it has been the JPX 900 Tour that became a favorite of many touring pros and talented amateurs. In fact, the 900 Tour has been the iron of choice for Brooks Koepka and was in the bag for his wins at the U.S. Open and PGA Championship in 2018. Brand new from Mizuno is the JPX 919 Tour, and Mizuno believes that the new model is destined to have an equally profound impact on the game.

The JPX 919 Tour irons will feature an even sleeker shape than their predecessor, and with their classic Mizuno sound and feel at impact, these are irons that are almost certain to be a popular choice among the lower handicappers that they were designed for. That said, a new Stability Frame is providing more forgiveness than one might expect from an iron of this size, and a new Pearl finish will provide players with even more durability and elegance.

Mizuno JPX 919 Forged Irons

JPX 919 Forged Irons

While the JPX 919 Tour irons will be a great fit for more talented ball-strikers, it will be the 919 Forged irons that will prove to be the most versatile offering from Mizuno in the new JPX line. And the reason for that is simple. These are irons that offer the clean, classic shape that Mizuno is known for, as well as the crisp impact feel and acoustics. But these are also irons that deliver explosive ball speed numbers and ample forgiveness. Add it all up and you’re sure to find low-, mid-, and high-handicappers who put the JPX 919 Forged irons into play.

Keying the ball speed the 919 Forged irons produce is a milling process that allows more of the clubface to be thinner, which leads to increased flex and distance gains. Additionally, the use of high-strength Boron in the forging process further promotes ball speed. That said, the weight saved in constructing the clubface has been moved low and deep in the clubhead, which works with the Stability Frame to deliver better results on mis-hits and higher launch with the long and mid irons.

MJPX 919 Hot Metal Irons

Shop Now

Mizuno is best known for its players irons but JPX Hot Metal has emerged as a highly popular game-improvement option for mid- and high-handicappers. The new 919 JPX Hot Metal irons offer the fastest ball speeds of any Mizuno iron ever created, with high-strength, flexible Chromoly 4140M fueling that speed. These are also irons that offer an impressive level of forgiveness thanks to their Stability Frame and weight positioned low and deep in the clubhead, a combination that provides improved dispersion on shots played from the heel and toe.

While distance and playability are the main storylines when it comes to the JPX 919 Hot Metal irons, they are also more aesthetically pleasing than many game-improvement offerings, and the new model features more compact short irons and wedges to promote increased control on scoring shots. Additionally, new internal sound ribs have been added in the design process to offer an even softer sound and feel at impact.
