The new TaylorMade Stealth driver line throws a major curveball at the golf world. For decades, titanium has been the dominant material used by manufacturers while creating drivers for consumers and professionals, alike. However, the TaylorMade Stealth drivers have flipped convention on its head by rolling out clubheads constructed from carbon, a decision that will surely create ripples throughout the industry. The new TaylorMade Stealth Fairway Wood line features two models, each of which offers similarly cutting-edge technology, even while both are aimed at different types of golfers. A step above the popular SIM2 fairway woods, the Stealth and Stealth Plus+ Fairway Woods are the latest and greatest from one of golf’s top equipment manufacturers. The low-spinning TaylorMade Stealth Plus+ Fairway features a slightly more compact profile than its counterpart, making it a terrific option for higher-skilled golfers. Conversely, the higher-launching, more forgiving TaylorMade Stealth Fairway will fit into a wide variety of golfers’ bags and will likely be the preferred option for most middle and high handicappers.
The headlining tech addition to the TaylorMade Stealth Plus+ Fairway Wood is its 80g V Steel Sole Plate. By reengineering the mass distribution of the sole, TaylorMade engineers managed to maximize the forgiveness, turf interaction, and versatility of the Stealth Plus+. The driving innovation of the TaylorMade Stealth Fairway Wood is its 3D Carbon Crown. A weight-saving addition to the fairway metal, the 3D Carbon Crown allowed TaylorMade engineers the chance to shift more weight backward, a move that enhances both forgiveness and playability.
The new TaylorMade Stealth line extends well beyond drivers and fairway woods, as the excellent Stealth Rescue and Stealth Rescue Plus+ hybrids prove. The Stealth Rescue clubs both boast a slew of technological innovations that make them suited for two different types of golfers. With a relatively sleeker profile and an additional low-loft option, the adjustable TaylorMade Stealth Rescue Plus+ appears to fit the lower handicap golfer better. Higher handicap golfers may well end up taking a longer look at the Stealth Rescue, which sports a more confidence-inspiring profile, and will launch the ball slightly higher with less spin.
Adjustability is one of the better player’s most desired characteristics as it relates to metal woods, hybrids included. With a +/- 1.5° loft sleeve, a golfer can alter the face angle of the Stealth Rescue Plus+ at will, allowing them to optimize their trajectory with the twist of a wrench. One major technological aspect of the TaylorMade Stealth Rescue is the hybrid’s new Carbon Crown. By saving 7g of weight, the crown let TaylorMade engineers relocate the excess mass to increase MOI, thereby increasing the club’s forgiveness.
The new TaylorMade Stealth Irons are the newest game-improvement iron set from a manufacturer that consistently produces powerful and forgiving clubs. Every one of the new technological features in these irons works in concert to help golfers improve their iron play Specifically, as their game-improvement category status suggests, the TaylorMade Stealth Irons are built with middle and high handicap golfers in mind. A large, confidence-inspiring profile and substantial playability make this iron set an excellent option for those who typically struggle with their iron play.
Thanks to its innovative Cap Back Design and toe wrap construction, TaylorMade’s engineers substantially increased the distance and forgiveness of the Stealth Irons without compromising on feel. The feat was accomplished by shifting weight away from the toe throughout the rest of the sole to lower CG and increase launch. Equipped with a 450SS face, the Stealth Irons boast another explosive layer of ball speed potential and consistency, even on mis-hit strikes. Finally, the ECHO Damping System behind the clubface utilizes a polymer blend to remove vibrations and bolster the feel of the TaylorMade irons.
The P790 series from TaylorMade has been a huge hit for golfers, providing explosive ball speeds and reliable forgiveness without losing all workability. The 2021 P790 irons provide the same advantages, but do so in a more compact clubhead shape and with some added forgiveness. SpeedFoam Air is 69% lighter than the SpeedFoam technology found in previous P790 iron models, which results in 3.5 grams of weight saved to be redistributed throughout the head for more stability.
Meanwhile, the all-new carbon steel clubhead construction is 37.5% thinner in strategic locations to deliver a lower and more effective center of gravity, increasing launch and forgiveness capabilities while providing a cleaner appearance. The 2021 P790 irons will fit a wide range of golfers, including a single-digit handicap all the way up to a high-handicap player.
As the demand for utility irons has increased, TaylorMade has realized that the construction of its P790 irons makes for a perfect utility iron for the better, high-speed players. The 2021 P790 UDI, available at 17 degrees of loft, provides a piercing ball flight and hot clubface that skilled players look for out of a “fairway finder” club.
The technology inside the club, such as SpeedFoam Air and the Thru-Slot Speed Pocket, deliver the same benefits as they do with the 2021 P790 irons. SpeedFoam Air is 69% lighter than the SpeedFoam technology in previous models, allowing for saved weight to be redistributed throughout the clubhead for more stability. The Thru-Slot Speed Pocket, a staple in TaylorMade irons, helps with performance on low mis-hits.
The new Milled Grind 3 wedges from TaylorMade provide added spin and control on both full swings and short game shots, helping golfers take advantage of scoring opportunities. A new Raw Face technology omits plating on the face for better interaction with the golf ball at impact, resulting in better sound and feel. Also new in the MG3 wedges is Raised Micro-Ribs, positioned between the full grooves, for added texture on the face. The Milled Grind 3 wedges are available in both a Satin Raw Chrome and a Satin Raw Black finish, and some in a wide variety of loft and bounce options. TaylorMade carries on its tradition of excellence in the metalwood department with the SIM2 drivers. Each model features a new Forged Ring Construction, which consists of forged aluminum that is milled to an exacting shape that wraps around the back weight and connects the crown and sole all together, resulting in incredible stability. Each SIM2 driver also comes with Speed Injected Twist Face technology, ensuring that each clubface is calibrated to the legal speed limit with a unique face curvature that improves performance on contact made at the heel or toe areas. Meanwhile, the Inertia Generator adds clubhead speed through advanced aerodynamics.
Of the three models, the SIM2 Max will fit the most golfers through a combination of high launch, reliable forgiveness, and explosive ball speeds. The standard SIM2 driver will offer low spin with more weight pushed forward in the clubhead, while the SIM2 Max D driver is designed with added weight in the heel to promote a draw bias, helping golfers who may struggle with a slice.

The SIM2 Max fairway wood, like the SIM2 Max driver, will fit the widest range of golfers with its combination of high launch and easy playability. The SIM2 Titanium fairway wood is slightly more compact with a more forward center of gravity to produce low spin, while the SIM2 Max D includes more weight in the heel to promote a draw bias and fight a slice.
TaylorMade’s Rescue clubs have delivered exceptional performance and versatility over the years, and the SIM2 Rescue clubs are no exception. Each includes the V Steel, Twist Face, and Speed Pocket technologies found in the SIM2 fairway woods that combine to provide explosive ball speeds, excellent forgiveness, and smooth turf interaction.
The SIM2 Max Rescue offers a larger clubhead shape with more weight implemented deeper behind the clubface, providing a higher launch and more forgiveness and likely higher spin. The SIM2 Rescue, meanwhile, is more compact with an iron-like appearance at address to promote low spin and workability.
The new TaylorMade SIM2 Max and SIM2 Max OS irons are powered by an all-new multi-material Cap Back Design, which features high-strength stainless steel and ultralight polymers that combine to deliver a low center of gravity and soft feel. The sweet spot has also been expanded by 40% and the Speed Pocket visible on the sole improves face flexing on contact made all across the clubface. The ECHO Damping System further improves feel, offering feel similar to that of a forged iron.
The SIM2 Max irons offer all of the explosive ball speeds, high launch, and stable forgiveness in a more compact frame. The SIM2 Max OS irons provide added distance and forgiveness through an oversize clubhead shape and stronger lofts.
TaylorMade added to its successful P700 family of irons with the new P770, P7MB, and P7MC iron models in 2020. The P770 irons are designed as a “sibling” of the P790, featuring a hollow-body construction forged from soft carbon steel with a 4140 steel clubface and up to 46 grams of tungsten weighting. However, the difference is in the shaping, which is more compact than the P790 for those golfers that want players-distance performance in a slightly smaller package.
Meanwhile, the P7MB and P7MC irons were designed for elite ball-strikers based on feedback from TaylorMade’s impressive staff of tour professionals. Both models were forged from 1025 carbon steel using TaylorMade’s Compact Grain Forging process and include a narrow sole, thin topline, and minimal offset. The key difference between the two models is that the P7MB is a muscle back blade, which presents slightly more workability, while the P7MC is a muscle cavity back for slightly more forgiveness.
The all-new Spider FCG putter is the newest addition to the prolific TaylorMade Spider putter line. The Spider FCG is built to feel like a blade with the MOI and forgiveness of a mallet. How is this possible? With the help of tungsten weights in the heel and toe, TaylorMade engineers moved the center of gravity position to the front fo the clubhead. This front-loaded weight delivers the benefits and release of a blade-style putter, even though the clubhead still tacks on the additional mass behind the clubface. And of course, TaylorMade’s Pure Roll face insert delivers a firmer feel and increased topspin while the True Path T-Sightline allows for easy alignment.
TaylorMade’s newest utility club offerings include the SIM UDI and SIM DHY. They are built with the same DNA, such as SpeedFoam Technology in a hollow body for explosive distance and forgiveness. The clubface is ultra-thin and forged from C300 steel, a strong material that delivers superb ball speeds. Meanwhile, Inverted Cone Technology increases the sweet spot area for better performance on center contact and when the center is missed. Where the clubs differ is in the shape. The SIM UDI is more compact with a more forward center of gravity, a combination that promotes a lower launch, lower spin, and more workability. Meanwhile, the SIM DHY is a larger clubhead with the center of gravity positioned toward the back of the club, which promotes a higher launch and more forgiveness.
Brand new from TaylorMade is the Truss putter franchise, which the company has introduced as an option for players who are seeking high MOI in a more classic shape. To accomplish that goal, engineers created unique hosel designs patterned after the type of architecture that would be required to create stability in large structures, such as a bridge or a building. The end result are putters that look quite unusual from face on but very traditional at address.
Most important, however, is that Truss putters are far less susceptible to twisting on off-center strikes, which means better distance control for players on mis-hits. There are also four Truss models available to choose from, a heel-shafted blade and mallet, which will provide some toe hang and work well for players with arcing strokes, and a center-shafted blade and mallet, both of which are face balanced for players who utilize a straight back, straight through approach.
The Spider putter franchise has been a home run for TaylorMade for years now, and after enjoying incredible success in 2019 with its new Spider X putters, the company is back in 2020 with brand new Spider S models. The Spider S is a machine-milled mallet design that has been constructed using premium 6061 aluminum. Like the rest of the options in the Spider family from TaylorMade, Spider S will offer high MOI, but it will also offer a more traditional mallet shape.
Providing the forgiveness in Spider S that players have grown accustomed to from Spider putters are tungsten sole weights in the heel and toe, as well as a tungsten back bar, all of which enable extreme perimeter weighting. In fact, with more than 6,000 MOI points, Spider S is the most forgiving Spider model ever developed. Spider S putters also feature TaylorMade’s highly popular Pure Roll Insert, and they will be available in Navy and Chalk finishes.
After a great run that began in the fall of 2015 with the release of the original M1 driver, TaylorMade is beginning 2020 by introducing its new SIM brand, which will replace the highly popular and successful M family. SIM stands for Shape In Motion and the new franchise came about because TaylorMade believes it can do things today from a shaping and aerodynamic standpoint to improve performance that it simply couldn’t do within the M family.
There will be three SIM driver options for players to choose from, the standard SIM, the SIM Max, and the SIM Max-D. Each will feature completely new shaping to increase clubhead speed, as well as what TaylorMade is calling its Inertia Generator, which is a rear weight that’s positioned in the clubhead to increase MOI. Beyond that, staple technologies will remain in the SIM line, including Twist Face and the use of TaylorMade’s proprietary Speed Injection process.
As is the case with the SIM driver lineup, there will be three SIM fairway wood models to choose from. The SIM Ti features titanium in the construction of the clubhead and face to allow for an 80-gram sole plate that lowers CG to improve launch, spin, and MOI. The SIM Max, meanwhile, offers a slightly larger profile to create added forgiveness, and the SIM Max-D was designed with its center of gravity positioned more toward the heel to help encourage a draw bias.
In terms of the shared technologies for each fairway model, headlining the list is TaylorMade’s V-Steel sole design, which provides improved turf interaction and enhanced playability from poor lies. Twist Face also has been utilized to improve accuracy on shots hit from the high-toe or low-heel portions of the clubface, and Speed Pockets have been implemented into the design to create more flexing of the face at impact, as well as protect ball speed on low-face strikes.
TaylorMade will be offering one rescue model within the SIM family and that will be the SIM Max, which was created to offer naturally high launch conditions, exceptional distance, and tremendous impact stability. In terms of technology, as was the case with the SIM fairway woods, the SIM Max rescues will feature TaylorMade’s V-Steel sole design to provide better turf interaction from perfect lies and the versatility needed to play shots from poor lies.
SIM Max rescues will also feature Twist Face to improve accuracy on off-center strikes, while a C300 steel clubface delivers improved ball speed. Also of note, the Speed Pocket implemented in the design helps maintain ball speed on shots hit from low on the face, which is a common miss with a hybrid. There also will be five different loft options for players to choose from in the SIM Max rescue line, ranging from 19 to 31 degrees.
Rounding out the debut of SIM for TaylorMade will be two game-improvement iron offerings, SIM Max and SIM Max OS. Both irons were designed with distance and forgiveness in mind. But in comparing the two, the SIM Max OS will feature a larger footprint and wider sole, which will provide mid- and high-handicappers with added confidence over the ball, while the SIM Max offers a more traditional cavity back profile that includes a thinner topline and less offset.
What makes SIM Max and SIM Max OS unique, however, are the resources that engineers invested to create a softer impact feel, which typically isn’t the case in game-improvement irons that feature thinner clubfaces. More specifically, to produce that improved feel, TaylorMade revamped its Speed Bridge technology, which also helps promote ball speed, while also incorporating a new ECHO Damping System in the cavity to reduce unwanted vibrations.
To say the original P790 irons were a home run for TaylorMade would be an understatement. In reality, they basically redefined and significantly expanded the players distance iron category. Given the success of P790, it was only a matter of time before TaylorMade released a new version, and that time is now. To its credit, however, TaylorMade didn’t make sweeping changes to the new P790 -- SpeedFoam is back -- rather subtle refinements to make them even better.
Most notably, the clubface has been made seven percent thinner to increase ball speed, and 15 percent more tungsten has been utilized to raise MOI and promote higher launch. Progressive Inverted Cone Technology has also been introduced into the design to improve accuracy, while the long irons now feature less offset, the short irons feature a more compact blade length that promotes control, and a higher toe section through the set offers a more classic look at address.
One area in which TaylorMade continues to improve its market share is the wedge category. Its Hi-Toe wedges have been incredibly popular and the brand new Milled Grind 2 lineup is already garnering high praise. MG2 wedges are 100 percent CNC machine milled, which ensures precision and consistency when it comes to every aspect of the clubhead. New, however, is a raw clubface and sharper groove pattern that creates additional spin and control.
Aso unique about Milled Grind 2 when compared to the original Milled Grind wedges is that the clubface has been made thicker (from 5.1mm to 6.5mm), which allowed a TPU insert to be implemented into the design to improve feel. MG2 wedges are offered in lofts ranging from 48 to 60 degrees and available in low-bounce and standard-bounce models to meet the needs of any player. There are also two elegant finishes -- Satin Chrome and Matte Black -- to choose from.
When it comes to putters, TaylorMade is best known for its Spider franchise, but the company also has had tremendous success with its TP collection. New from TaylorMade is the TP Patina lineup, which is providing players with a classic look but technology that promotes optimal feel and a true roll. More specifically, the Patina’s Pure Roll insert has been made 5mm thicker to improve feel and its grooves are angled at 45 degrees to create more forward roll at impact.
The TP Patina collection also features adjustable weights in the sole so that players can create the exact balance that they’re looking for in their stroke. There are seven unique head shapes to choose from, including three traditional blade designs and four mallets. Each putter also offers different toe hang characteristics to create a match for different stroke types, and each Patina model is also offered at 34 or 35 inches in length and in right- and left-handed models.
TaylorMade’s Spider franchise has been around for more than a decade now, but it has truly exploded in popularity in the last couple of years, as Spider putters are played by some of the best touring professionals in the world and a fixture in the bags of countless amateurs as well. Brand new from TaylorMade is the Spider X line, which is taking the stability and high MOI that Spider putters have been known for to all new heights.
The sole plate that has been utilized in the Spider X line is now constructed using lightweight carbon and at just 15 grams it allowed engineers to move weight to the perimeter of the putter to maintain high MOI in a more compact shape. The Spider X’s Pure Roll insert has also been made thicker to provide a more pleasing sound and feel, while angled grooves create more forward role. Additionally, brand new navy and copper colors are available to choose from.
Speed Injected Twist Face is the big technology story when it comes to the new M5 drivers from TaylorMade. More specifically, TaylorMade engineers have adopted a new design strategy to ensure that every clubface is at the USGA’s COR limit, with the goal being to maximize ball speed. To do that, TaylorMade actually make the clubface too hot and then injects resin into two small ports in the face to slow it back down to the highest conforming level possible.
Additionally, Twist Face is back in the M5 drivers to provide increased accuracy on mis-hits, and the M5 also features a modified T-Track system that along with an adjustable hosel creates nearly 1,800 settings to help players optimize performance. There are also two M5 models to choose from. In addition to the standard version at 460cc, there is a 435cc Tour model. It was designed for players who are looking for a compact shape, lower spin, and added workability.
As is the case with M5, the new M6 drivers also utilize TaylorMade’s unique speed injection process to get each driver right up to the USGA limit for COR, which TaylorMade believes will ensure that every player gets as much ball speed as possible. Additionally, by utilizing a thinner clubface and then slowing it down as necessary, the sweet spot on the face of the M6 has been expanded to deliver faster ball speeds on shots played from outside the center of the face.
Also helping improve performance on off-center strikes, is Twist Face technology, as face curvature is altered on the high toe and low heel portions of the M6 driver to deliver more accuracy on those common misses. Fixed weight low and deep in the clubhead also provides optimal launch and spin in the M6, and there will be a D-Type version available to help players who struggle with a slice or a block combat that frustrating miss.
The new M5 fairway woods will be replacing the M3 fairways in TaylorMade’s lineup, and there have been some significant changes made. Most notable is that the M5 fairway woods feature a titanium body as opposed to steel. The use of titanium combined with a lightweight carbon crown allowed engineers to utilize a 65-gram movable steel weight in the sole to give players the option to create the fade, draw, or neutral bias that they’re looking for.
Equally important in terms of innovation is that TaylorMade is utilizing Twist Face in the M5 fairway woods, as face curvature modifications have been made high in the toe and low in the heel to reduce side spin and provide enhanced accuracy. An adjustable loft sleeve with 12 distinct settings is also a standard feature in the M5 fairway woods, ensuring that players can create the exact launch, spin, and shot shape that they prefer.
The new M6 fairway woods will be stepping into some big shoes, as both the M2 and M4 fairways were incredibly successful for TaylorMade. Most notable about the M6 fairways is that they will feature Twist Face, which is new for TaylorMade in a fairway wood. More specifically, face curvature on the high toe and low heel portions of the clubface has been modified to reduce side spin on those two common misses, with the end result being improved accuracy.
The M6’s Speed Pocket also has been redesigned, with added flexibility promoting improved ball speed protection, especially on low-face strikes, and a slightly deeper clubface and lightweight carbon crown combine to make it easier for players to launch the ball from the turf. And finally, for the first time, there will be a D-Type fairway model in the M6 line, which was created to help players fight the slice or block that they typically struggle with.
For the first time ever in one of its rescue clubs, the M6 rescue will feature Twist Face, an innovation that gives players increased accuracy and reduced side spin on off-center strikes thanks to face curvature refinements that have been made to the high toe and low heel regions of the clubface. Additionally, the M6’s clubface has been made thinner to provide more ball speed from all strike locations than was the case in its predecessor, the M4.
Also of note, a stepped crown design helps move the CG lower in the M6 for effortless launch conditions and improved stability at impact, while a modified Speed Pocket that is more flexible than in previous versions better protects ball speed from impact points across the face. The M6 rescues are also available in five different models with lofts ranging from 19 to 31 degrees to allow any player to address the gaps in their bag that need to be filled.
Driving performance in TaylorMade’s new M5 and M6 irons is what the company is calling Speed Bridge, a structure that works in unison with a new thru-slot Speed Pocket to deliver faster ball speed and improved sound and feel at impact. More specifically, a thinner clubface that utilizes Inverted Cone Technology and increased stiffness around the perimeter of the clubhead improve energy transfer at impact to promote significant distance gains.
The M5 and M6 irons also feature fluted hosel designs and lower CG positions to promote naturally high launch conditions and better results on off-center strikes, while unwanted vibrations are eliminated by a HYBAR compression damper. Of the two new models, the M5 features a more compact blade length and less offset, which will promote workability, while the M6 features a wider sole and larger footprint to provide maximum forgiveness.
As blended iron sets have become increasingly popular, especially with better players who are looking for unique playability from their short, mid, and long irons, TaylorMade set out to create a set of irons that would give golfers all of the benefits of a blended set in a single iron model. The result of those efforts is the new P760, which features a progressive design as it relates to both shaping and construction to give golfers feel and control and in the short irons along with an infusion of distance, launch, and forgiveness in the long and mid irons, which TaylorMade sees as a winning combination.
Most notable about the P760 progressive design is the use in the long and mid irons of SpeedFoam, which has proven to be highly effective in TaylorMade’s P790 irons as a ball speed producing technology. The P760 short irons, however, feature a traditional forged construction approach from premium 1025 carbon steel to promote superior feel, as well as the control and workability that better players demand from their scoring irons. Additionally, the blade size, offset, and loft of each iron has been chosen to offer optimal performance through the set.
TaylorMade has become a serious player in the putter market in the last couple of years, and a great deal of that success can be attributed to the popularity of its Spider Tour putters. New for 2018, TaylorMade is now offering the Spider Mini, which features a head shape that is 15 percent smaller than the Spider Tour but with the same impressive level of MOI to help players fare better on mis-hits when it comes to both speed and distance. Also present in the Spider Mini is TaylorMade’s Pure Roll insert, which enables the ball to start rolling more quickly.
Spider Mini putters are available in a Tour Red and Diamond Silver finish, and they feature a new, unique alignment aid that mimics what golfers who have typically use blade-style putters are used to seeing at address. Each Spider Mini model is also face balanced, meaning it will work best for players who use a straight back, straight through approach to putting or for those with slight arcs in their stroke.
TaylorMade’s new TP Red-White putter collection features three popular head designs that have been updated with enhanced alignment aids to help players get the ball started on their intended line more often. The three models being offered in the Red-White collection -- the Ardmore, Ardmore 2, and Ardmore 3 -- are mallet designs that feature significant perimeter weighting, which means more forgiveness for the golfer on off-center strikes. Each model also offers a varying amount of toe hang to meet the needs of players with different stroke types.
From a technology standpoint, each TP Red-White model features TaylorMade’s aluminum Pure Roll insert, which helps to get the ball rolling more quickly while also offering a firm yet responsive sound and feel that gives golfers plenty of feedback. Additionally, each putter has been milled from premium 304 stainless steel, and a black steel shaft complements the head design and color patterns to offer an elegant and eye-catching visual package.
After an impressive run of more than two years, TaylorMade is retiring, at least temporarily, the M1 name and introducing its replacement as M3. And when it comes to the new M3 drivers, the buzz centers around TaylorMade’s new Twist Face Technology, which has seen the company make modifications to the high-toe and low-heel regions of the clubface to improve performance on those common misses. There will also be two M3 models for players to choose from, a 460cc option and a 440cc option. So who’s the right candidate for an M3 fairway wood? Certainly the player who wants to be able to make setting adjustments to their fairway wood to optimize performance. But the M3 also has a significantly smaller profile than the M4 fairway woods and a slightly deeper face as well, which will make it a great option in terms of working the ball and playing shots from a tee.
As popular as M2 drivers have been, M2 fairway woods have been almost their equal, as they have proven to deliver an incredible combination of distance and forgiveness. And that will again be the case with the new M4 fairways, which feature a modified Speed Pocket that’s creating more ball speed and protecting that ball speed better on mis-hits. Additionally, more weight has been pushed to the perimeter of the clubhead in the new design to help improve distance consistency on shots that are struck from either the heel or toe.
M4 fairways will be a great option for golfers who are looking for max forgiveness and effortless launch, the latter of which can pose challenges when it comes to recreational players, especially from the turf. For those who would like a smaller profile and enhanced workability, the M4 Tour fairway would be a good option as well and a great choice for players who use a fairway wood often from a tee.
The first thing players will notice with the new M3 Rescue is that it features the M family’s iconic two-tone crown, which this year is black and silver as opposed to black and white. That’s a notable move, one that TaylorMade chose to adopt primarily for alignment purposes, given that neither version of the M1 Rescue had the two-tone crown. Additionally, players will have more movable weight at their disposal with the M3 to produce their preferred launch conditions, ball flight, and distance, and an adjustable loft sleeve will also aid in that process.
Players of all ability levels can enjoy better performance with an M3 Rescue than they could with a long iron, and these are hybrids that have immediately made their way into the bags of touring pros around the world.
